Episode 7 – TOS 1.3

7 April, 2010

This week in Kumar’s absence, Matt and Alice attempt to review the next three episodes in our series (The Balance Of Terror, The Dagger Of The Mind, and What Are Little Girls Made Of?). However, consider this a disclaimer, if you’re looking for a serious analysis of these episodes, I feel the need to remind you that KUMAR WASN’T PRESENT!! It’s a fun episode, albeit very silly.

We spoil each of the episodes but all film spoilers are preceded by an alert.

Episode 6 – TOS 1.2

4 March, 2010

After an unexpected break, we return with our second episode review show. We review the Original Series episodes The Corbomite Maneuver (which we all successfully pronounce), The Enemy Within (which we agree is very intelligent) and The Naked Time (where we all sweat profusely).

We spoil each of these episodes without warning, but nothing else.

Let us know what you think of these episodes, or any coming up. If you want your comment to feature when we record the appropriate show, your best bet is to get in early with a distant episode or to review Miri, The Galileo Seven or Shore Leave before March 14. Both audio comments and e-mails are welcome.

Episode 5 – TOS vs TNG

1 November, 2009

As the fight music from Amok Time plays, Kumar and Alice debate which series is better out of Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation. I’m kidding about the fight music.

This weeks episode was edited by Alice because Kumar is on holiday, which is why it is very late, sorry about that…

Mild spoilers for TNG episode Relics at 16 minutes for about 30 seconds.

Episode 4 – Battlestar Trekactica

3 October, 2009
by

In this episode, Alice and Matt attempt to assemble the best possible starship crew out of the characters from Star Trek, Firefly and Battlestar Galactica.

Apologies for the extended hiatus, but hopefully we’ll be back regularly from now on with a Thursday/Friday release schedule. As always, feedback is adored.

Episode 3 – Trek for the Uninitiated

7 September, 2009
by

In this episode, we try to explain Trek and sell it to people who have never seen a single episode.

The page with the episode lists accompanied by our ratings and links to our episodes about them will be up within the next week on the site, so check back soon for that.

Some corrections & additions:
- In Kim Possible, the Sensei doesn’t actually give Ron his monkey powers. Ron gets those accidentally in an encounter with Lord Monty Fist (who later becomes Monkey Fist). The Sensei teaches Ron how to use his powers, if my memory serves me right.
- Ricardo Montalban also did voice acting for Kim Possible. He played the character Señor Senior Sr.
