About
Warp Factor One is a podcast devoted to Star Trek. Your hosts are three teenagers from opposite corners of the world, all recent converts to Trekdom. Each week, we’ll take you on a journey through the wonder of sci-fi that is Star Trek – we’ll cover each Star Trek series episode by episode, and we’ll talk about anything else Trek-related that strikes our fancy, from how warp drives work to which Trek characters we’d like to sleep with.

Alice
-
Alice from Australia started watching Star Trek on 24 April 2008. The oldest and probably sanest of our motley crew, she was also the first to get into Trek. She loves The Original Series and The Next Generation equally for different reasons, but tends to gravitate to The Next Generation because of its ensemble cast. Her favourite film of the series is The Wrath of Khan. She is also the co-host of MA15+, and has a podcast feed for her music. Find her on Twitter.

Matt
-
Matt from England began his Star Trek journey on 3 October 2008. His quirky and zany manner that makes him one hoopy frood who knows where his towel is somehow also led to the usage of his surname Cullane as a catchphrase or general greeting, whether or not the person being greeted is Matt himself.. His favourite series is The Next Generation, and his favourite Trek film is The Voyage Home. He is a co-host of 5 Toilets and a Kitchen Sink. Find him on Twitter.

Kumar
Kumar from Hong Kong took his plunge into the world of Star Trek on 17 February 2009, mainly to stop people badgering him about it, but fell in love with it almost instantly. Despite his love of The Next Generation, he becomes a total fanboy every time The Original Series is on. He cops out from the favourite Trek film question by claiming that he loves The Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock and The Voyage Home as a trilogy. His goal in life is to eventually take over the world. Also, he was once almost stolen by monkeys. Don’t read his blog unless you really have nothing better to do. Find him on Twitter.

Hi to all three of you. I don’t have anything to comment on about your format or site design except that I think everything looks great. What I do want to say is that it is really great to see three fans as young as you guys are who enjoy watching the earlier series. I will be listening and am looking forward to your next reviews.
Live long and prosper,
Justin Saley
